The role

As head of the finance department, the Senor Finance Manager will provide effective supervision and workflow management of the National finance function. The role will drive on-time and accurate delivery of internal and external reporting/compliance requirements, whilst ensuring processes are efficient and conducive to effective management of the business.

 Key responsibilities will include:

  •  Effective management & leadership of the National finance division
  • Providing financial advice to the CEO/Executive team through the provision of interpretation of information, advice on financial implications and recommendations which support business strategy

 On-time and accurate delivery of items such as:

  • Financial/management accounts, including analysis and commentary
  • Company income tax return & indirect tax submissions
  • Cash flow and liquidity monitoring and reporting
  • Budget and forecast information
  • Supporting the Executive team in the provision of ongoing financial advice to key operational personnel including delivering regular educational and development topics to broaden their financial acumen
  • Development, implementation and ongoing management of management services and systems which support organisation needs

About you

As an ideal candidate for the role, you will possess

  • Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Commerce, Business Management or related area, with formal professional qualifications (CA or CPA)
  • High level of literacy and budgeting skills
  • Advanced excel and knowledge of ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement initiatives to maintain best practice financial policies and processes which mitigate the risk of fraud or loss
  • Working knowledge of Management Accounting and Project Accounting
  • Knowledge of and experience in statutory reporting
  • High level skill/experience in the use of Excel (e.g. vlookup, pivot tables, sumif, absolute formulae)
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills within an international organisation
