Perfect for Bookkeeper/Accountant or Finance Manager seeking more diverse work
This Accounting Firm was established out of Melbourne in 2005 and has a growing Geelong office. Due to internal moves the opportunity has arisen for a finance professional to join their Geelong team.
Responsibilities will include;
Preparation of BAS / IAS
Preparation of Set of Accounts from Clients’ Bookkeeping Software to XPA
Preparation of income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and core tax compliance matters
Preparation and maintenance of accounting and taxation records
Liaising with the ATO and clients
The ideal candidate will have;
Minimum 2-5 years' local experience in a book-keeping and the preparation of tax returns
Vocational or Tertiary Accounting Qualifications
Excellent stakeholder relationship skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn new things
